Project Highlights

A heartfelt home designed for Mansi & Kumar Shah — a couple who recently relocated from the United States to Ahmedabad. While Kumar brought in a structured, tech-driven perspective, Mansi, an artist by passion, led the design journey with vision and emotional depth. With warm references and a shared design ethos across the building, this residence reflects a balance of creativity, calm, and personalized function. The layout was customized to include individual zones: from a teenage Lego-themed room to a serene art space beside the pooja area.

Design Concept

Artist-Led Home Design

Mansi Shah played the creative lead — from material selections to wall detailing. A dedicated art corner was designed with natural light and storage, supporting her studio practice within the home.

Lego-Inspired Teenage Room

For their son, a room was designed with a Lego-inspired theme — striking a balance between youthful vibrance and teenage subtlety, avoiding anything overly childish or overly mature.

Lavish Living, Grounded Bedrooms

The central living area was designed with a soft-luxury tone for hosting and family time. The master bedroom leaned into comfort and elegance, while the rest of the house maintained a restrained, usable aesthetic tailored to daily routines.

Challenges and Solutions

Design a space that caters to multiple creative and practical needs — an art studio, a pooja room, a transitional teenage room — while maintaining cohesive flow.Zoning was the key. We reimagined a compact layout to create distinct micro-environments — allowing each family member to feel represented and comfortable. The home became a true reflection of its residents — structured for Kumar, expressive for Mansi, and thoughtful for their growing son.
